Let Us Lend A Hand
We know that starting and maintaining a healthier, humane, and sustainable lifestyle can be a challenge. This is especially true when family pressures, cultural norms, unique personal needs, fad diet pitches, and just the ebb and flow of daily life seem to conspire against our best efforts. Those of us at Healthy World Sedona (HWS) have all been through it, and to some extent the challenge may always be there.
But it does get easier–much easier!–as the benefits begin to accrue in ways we couldn’t have imagined. We all needed help, though. Whether it was reading some scientific evidence, having an amazingly vibrant and energetic friend share her plant-based shopping and cooking secrets, or being part of a supportive group or network, we all found knowledge and inspiration through the experience of others.
So now we’d like nothing better than to be the “others” for you. That’s why Healthy World Sedona exists. Whether you have already committed to the plant-based lifestyle and want to make new connections, have been searching for a way to make a good life even better, or have reached rock bottom physically or psychologically and are in need of a hand up, we’re here to help. Here are some ways you can get the support you need:

Annual Events. Each January (except 2021, due to Covid-19 concerns), HWS produces the Sedona Health and Nutrition Conference, geared primarily for health professionals, and the Sedona VegFest, for the general public. These events are great for concentrated immersion in the science and experience of the whole food, plant-based (WFPB) life, with expert speakers and exhibitors to inform and inspire.

The Healthy World Vitality Project. Launching in October, 2020, specially trained HWS representatives will lead existing or newly formed small teams to undertake or continue their plant-based journey together. While the focus will be on attaining and maintaining positive personal health outcomes, the guided group setting will encourage sharing of ethical and environmental goals, in a mutually supportive format.

Resources. On this website, we’ve dedicated an entire page to providing links to, and in many cases commentaries on, a wide variety of resources for independent research. You’ll find separate sections for books, cookbooks, movies and videos, newsletters and magazines, prepared meal delivery services, and cooking classes and coaching. Only scientifically sound information and proven services make these exclusive lists.

Personal support. Because we’re all different, sometimes what we really need is one-on-one contact. Whether you just need a one-time recipe suggestion for a dinner party with meat-eaters or would like to request a mentor who can work with you to set and achieve the right objectives over a longer period of time, write to us at info@healthyworldseonda.com and we’ll get back to you promptly.
