What is the Northern Arizona Healthy Minds Initiative?

The Northern Arizona Healthy Minds Initiative (NAHMI) is a collaboration between the communities of Northern Arizona and Team Sherzai to promote brain health and prevent neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and other dementias, Parkinson’s and stroke in our communities. Drs. Dean and Ayesha Sherzai, in collaboration with Healthy World Sedona, launched the initiative on April 9, 2018 through the Northern Arizona Healthy Minds Initiative Forum in Sedona. ¬†Participants included community leaders, organizations and individuals who are committed to the goal of preventing these devastating diseases in our communities.
